Some profile answers may reveal or imply sensitive personal information, including religious beliefs, political views, family intentions, relationship preferences, and other personal characteristics. We collect this only to power compatibility matching and do not use it for advertising.

When you use Linyor, we automatically collect:

  • Device information (model, browser, OS)
  • IP address and general location
  • Usage activity (feature usage, interactions, preferences)
  • Log data and technical diagnostics for performance and security
  • Session cookies required to keep you logged in and maintain your account state

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising pixels. We may use privacy-conscious tools to monitor performance, reliability, and basic product usage.

1.3 Information From Third-Party Services

If you create an account using Apple, Google, or another provider, we receive basic profile information from them (such as name and email).

Our matching algorithm automatically determines profile visibility and compatibility scores based on your answers. You can influence results by updating your profile and preferences at any time.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or with data brokers.

3. Messaging, Safety, and Moderation

We may use automated tools to detect harmful or policy-violating behavior (harassment, spam, threats, or inappropriate content).

We do not routinely monitor private messages manually. We may access, review, or use automated systems to process messages where necessary for:

  • Safety investigations and abuse prevention
  • Fraud detection and moderation
  • Resolving support cases you initiate

When you delete your account, your profile is removed from public view immediately. Your data is permanently deleted within 90 days, except where retention is required for fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Messages or content already delivered to another user may remain visible to that user or be retained in safety records for a limited period.

7. Children's Privacy

Linyor is strictly for users 18 and older.

We do not knowingly collect or store data from anyone under 18.

If we discover such an account, it will be deleted immediately.

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Secure authentication protocols
  • Server-side protections and monitoring

However, no system is perfectly secure. You use the Service at your own risk, and we encourage safe online behavior. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

If you access Linyor from outside the United States, your data may be processed in the U.S. or other countries. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.
